How to get there?
The fishing village of Agaete is located in the northwest of Gran Canaria, just 30 kilometres from the island's capital, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Of the municipalities that extend along the northern coast of Gran Canaria, Agaete is the most westerly, where the semicircle that the island draws begins to orient itself towards the West. Its boundaries are established to the North and East by the municipality of Gáldar, while to the South and West it borders the summit of Artenara.
There are two access routes to this municipality:
- From Las Palmas de Gran Canaria on the GC 2 road
- From the village of San Nicolás or the southern area of the island, skirting the west coast on the GC 200 road
You can get there by both routes by car or by regular bus lines.
