Hermitage of Our Lady of the Snows

The Hermitage of Las Nieves in Agaete was ordered to be built in the second half of the 16th century by Antón Cerezo. This building is located in Puerto de las Nieves, constituting an area that has been slowly populated and around which fishermen's houses were located, taking the hermitage as its central axis. An extension is the work of D. Cristóbal García del Castillo and the towers are from the last century, built during the stewardship of D. Antonio de Armas.

Inside it houses a Flemish triptych from the 16th century of great artistic value, the Triptych of Our Lady of Las Nieves.
