Sculpture of Saint Sebastian

The image of San Sebastián is located in his homonymous hermitage, a 17th century construction, located at the entrance to the Town Hall. This sculptural example is the most important round work in the town. This work is by the sculptor and architect José Luján Pérez, a notable artist born in the neighbouring town of Sta. Mª de Guía in the 19th century. Its dimensions are small and proportionate. San Sebastián is considered a protector against the plague.
