Traditional Architecture of the 19th Century

The current Cultural Centre of the Town stands out, an old mansion with a typical island flavour. The building, built in the 19th century, belonged to the Manrique de Lara family. The rooms are arranged around an interior patio, joined on the upper floor by a corridor built entirely of wood supported by columns that start directly from the ground.

Another example of a 19th century Canarian bourgeois home that belonged to the Armas family is the current Town Hall building. The building preserves some elements of notable architectural interest, such as the interior patio around which the different rooms are distributed, following the style of traditional Canarian architecture.
